×Italian design brand Minotti returns with its new 2022 Collection, celebrating sophisticated elegance and sartorial taste, 1970s design and mid-century motifs with a novel Japanese/Scandinavian twist – plus, it's the 25th anniversary of Minotti's collaboration with esteemed art director Rodolfo Dordoni. Featuring compact sofas, bold seating systems and sculptural coffee tables, the collection offers both an evolution and a timeless continuation of Minotti’s atmospheric approach to interior design.
Coordinated by Dordoni with in-house creative Minotti Studio, featuring furniture by multiple international designers, the 2022 Collection creates a symbiotic vision for the home and hospitality spheres. Horizonte by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27 features an architectural sofa system with a rigorous sartorial base and soft, volumetric upholstery. Inspired by the 1970s are two new seating systems signed by Dordoni, Goodman and Twiggy; the former marked by its matelassĂ© stitching and quilted cross-padding, the latter by its sculptural volumes free from schemes, capable of adapting to needs in continuous evolution.Â

×New collaborators Inoda+Sveje, hailing from Japan and Denmark, add the compact yet powerful Sendai family of seats, the sinuous Yoko and Yoko Cord Outdoor seats and bench and Lars, an asymmetrical sofa. While Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi update the outdoor aluminium Patio family with the Patio Teak seating system, as well as the Lido and the Lido Cord Outdoor family of seats.

×Further innovating Minotti’s sophisticated design technology, the 2022 Collection pays particular attention to modular capabilities that allow furniture to adapt over generations and lifestyle evolutions. For example, the compact pieces with strong personalities, as seen in the Twiggy and Sendai families, can be used in spaces of any scale from a Tokyo apartment to a sprawling Mediterranean villa.
