Find out how a regional bank in Germany went from a simple furnishing job to full-blown cultural transformation thanks to workplace-design experts Interstuhl.
'We thought we were buying 100 desks and 100 chairs and seven kitchens.' What Benjamin Wurm didn't realise when he first supplied Interstuhl with a brief to plan the furnishing of the Volksbank Albstadt's under-construction HQ was just what was at stake.
It soon became apparent to the Swabian regional bank's board member – via a series of deep-diving discussions with the go-to German workplace-solutions brand – that a total office concept, based on a series of different, user-need-driven environments shaped by carefully considered furniture systems, would help the bank deliver the transformation of their internal work culture that they were looking for.
‘Now we know there are many more things you have to think about,’ says Wurm candidly about the process. Watch the video now to find out exactly what he means.
