BIM World MUNICH is the central platform for all topics around the digitalisation of the construction and real estate industries. For the fourth year in a row, the two-day fair – complete with so-called ‘Breakout Sessions’ – will take place in Munich on 26 and 27 November, and more than 200 exhibitors will be there to present the latest tools and technologies.

The highlights of this year's exhibition programme include BIM visualisation (VR/AR, 3D etc.), new disruptive construction IT and IoT technologies for sensor-based construction and operation, the role of BIM in sustainable construction, BIM on the digital construction site and in the planning and construction of infrastructure projects. Also, Geodata and the GIS industry which play an important role in the planning, restructuring and optimisation of all construction processes. In addition, cloud-based BIM solutions and innovative applications for Smart Buildings, as well as outstanding examples of digital planning tools and smart construction technologies, will be on show.

Companies with BIM-experience will give a deeper insight into various topics and product applications on stage during so-called ‘Breakout Sessions’. This section will be opened by the Bavarian Chamber of Architects who will give a welcoming address as well as a keynote speech.

The world of digital technologies is experiencing a rapid upswing, and the BIM Town Innovation Area, with its open stage programme, will be host to all of the latest innovations. Innovators, disruptors, start-ups and R&D teams can present their digital products and services for the areas of design, production, construction and management under the categories of Construction, Environment, Real Estate and Smart City. The best will receive the Smart Building / Smart Construction Innovation World Cup® Award. Amongst those in attendance will be BIM SPOT, Capmo, e-Cassini, LocLab, Plan4 and PlanToBuild.

And established companies will also have the opportunity to prove themselves this year. With the new reverse pitch concept, they will present themselves, their concepts and requirements to both start-ups and representatives from the tech industry.
