Being the result of research in energy saving, Mix is a sophisticated led reading lamp able to guarantee extraordinary lighting efficiency with very low consumption (only 5W) and average duration of fifty thousand hours. The slender head, main innovative element of the project, houses the electronic circuit designed in detail by Meda and Rizzatto. In fact the two designers, did not limit themselves to applying the technology, but traced its layout improving the distribution of the components to achieve an extremely flat surface and best express what is impossible to achieve with other bulbs.
In the past Luceplan received the Compasso d’Oro for the lampa D7 (1981), Lola (1989) and Metropoli (1994).
