×The 2019 Collection from Minotti marks the next evolutionary step in the history of the Italian brand. Coordinated by Minotti Art Director Rodolfo Dordoni, together with Minotti Studio – the creative department at the Minotti headquarter – the collaborative range is the result of mixing the styles and cultures of five separate internationally-renowned designers. The collection creates a new decorative code, offering suggestions of a new ideal and inspirational home environment, where especially seating systems use geometric sectional combinations to outline structured interior landscapes.

×Designers Christophe Delcourt, GamFratesi, Nendo, Marcio Kogan from Studio MK27 and Dordoni himself have taken Minotti’s inimitable style and enhanced it with a mix of complementing international flavours, offering a near-infinite number of compositional solutions for a worldwide audience.
One of the most distinguishing pieces of the collection is undoubtedly Christophe Delcourt’s Daniels seating system, especially when combined with his complementary Amber sideboards. With over 150 possible elements - including linear or curved seats, ottomans and chaise longue sections - Daniels provides a dynamic freedom of formation that’s perfectly suited either for residential spaces or more expansive hospitality environments. Reflecting the distinctive Minotti style with its clean lines and strong aesthetic, the West seating system designed by Rodolfo Dordoni offers full modularity with innovative compositions of pentagonal, hexagonal or more traditional components; a stylish contrast between its textile cover and saddle-hide backrest; and holds it all together with a distinctive brandy-coloured aluminium strip, running through the base of the system.

×Already a melting pot of internationalism, the GamFratesi duo combine their individual cultural traditions of Danish craft and Italian concept-driven design. Both their Angie and Shelley armchairs juxtapose a stiff saddle-hide frame with a soft upholstered interior. The Wedge table range, meanwhile, from design studio Nendo, performs a delicate furniture ballet with the visual bulk of its thick legs and surprisingly lightweight feet, chiselled to a point; while the wicker-effect metal frame of Nendo’s Tape Outdoor range fills exterior spaces with sun-lit warmth. And finally, Marcio Kogan from Studio MK27 brings his notable rationalist approach to the design of new pieces including the Quadrado armchair, table and double daybed, stating that it’s ‘Perfect for lounging, forgetting your cellphone and contemplating the horizon.’
Because exteriors deserve great layout and design choice too, Minotti have added outdoor variants to the Tape range (top) and new additions to Marcio Kogan’s (Studio MK27) Quadrado seating (above), including an armchair and indulging double daybed
