The idea of the young businessman – as son of a lighting manufacturer he always thought about the nature of light – is to dim the general "Overlighting". "These days inner spaces very often are totally overlighted. It is not only a big waste of energy but it also takes away the contours. I think shadows are something beautiful." A minimal basic lighting with selective light sources at places where we actually need them – that is the starting point of Wästberg.
The outstanding drafts are presented as prototypes for now, but they will be in production in May.
