×raumplus and its products stand for excellent, customized interior solutions, no matter whether sliding doors, room dividers, closet systems, or furniture. For over 30 years now, the Bremen-based specialists have stood for quality ‘Made in Germany’ and this is paying off – raumplus has now been honoured with its second German Brand Award. After a first award in 2017, the company has now received the coveted award for 2019 in recognition of its exhibition concept for the imm international interior show in Cologne, Germany. At this year’s imm Cologne raumplus presented the raumplus house with a pale wooden façade that provided an ideal contrast to the dark product surfaces and profiles and the corporate colour black.
Visitors were guided around individual interiors and the sliding door and furniture manufacturer’s corresponding solutions as if viewing a house, allowing them to experience numerous products and new developments in a realistic environment.

×In Cologne raumplus demonstrated convincingly to its customers that the company’s offering covers every aspect of a modern interior. raumplus’ core business is individual, customized solutions – for sliding door and room divider systems; built-in and walk-in closets; or modern storage and stand-alone items. The concept also wowed the German Brand Award jury, that selected raumplus and its “The Living Interior” concept as the winner in the “Excellent Brands – Interior 2019” category.
The 2019 new product highlight was the “Sliding TV Door”, a multimedia centre in the form of a sliding door with an integrated smart TV screen. Following its launch at the imm, the “Sliding TV Door” won the 2019 Red Dot Award in the ‘Product Design and Design Quality’ category. The door is transformed into a multimedia centre by installing a monitor with a screen size of up to 55 inches and a maximum weight of 25 kg into its panel.
In addition to this, raumplus presented its first ever bed. Including a headboard and drawers, it was made in the same material as the interior system of a sliding door closet and a chest of drawers that offered additional storage. This allows customers to achieve a harmonious overall interior look if desired.

×A further new product was the Black Anodized profile for the Uno interior system and RPS aluminum-frame hinged door. Angled shelves that make for a lighter, airier look were another addition to the Uno interior system and are also available for the Legno interior system. A further version of the S720 sliding door, with an Inox Brushed profile, was also premiered and shown as a home office solution. In the dining room set the Bremen-based specialists presented the new Apperia interior system, a panel solution whose shelves and carcasses are hung on the back wall, making sidewalls superfluous. The overall offering was rounded off with new drawer boxes to provide more organization in and on chests of drawers and closets.
In the marketing segment, raumplus presented the new “Smart Sliding & More” catalogue to visitors; the 360-degree video tour around the showroom; and the relaunched website and Commerce portal.
