Which brands have cleaned up when it comes the most searched-for sanitary-ware manufacturers on architonic.com?
There are a few things in life we can be certain of. Death is one. Taxes are another. But so are bodily functions.
With the dust now having settled after the recent 2015 edition of ISH Frankfurt – the leading international showcase for bathroom design, heating and cooling technology – it’s time to take an analytical look at the most searched-for sanitary ware brands on architonic.com from 2014.
Our top-ten ranking is devised from text-based searches for individual brands and, therefore, reflects active brand awareness on the part of architects and interior architects. It features only those premium brands that are listed on architonic.com.
With the exception of Swiss manufacturer Laufen, which occupies pole position, and Spanish brand Roca, which comes in in sixth place, the list is dominated by German and Italian brands. While the latter consists of companies that emerged during the Italian design boom of the second half of the 20th century, it’s interesting to note that the German manufacturers have their roots in the earlier era of industrialisation, with Duravit tracing its heritage back to 1817.
What all the brands have in common is a distinctive brand identity, underpinned by premium product ranges that each have their own clearly identifiable style.
