By seamlessly hiding away the mechanics of their designs the modular components of VOLA’s mixer taps offer endless potential.

×VOLA has commissioned seven short films to celebrate its anniversary and its unique heritage and culture. Collectively, these highlight the brand’s key achievements, include interviews with its designers and shed light on its superb craftsmanship and enduringly popular products, notably its HV1 tap and 111 mixer, designed in 1968 by Arne Jacobsen for VOLA’s founder Verner Overgaard.
This iconic Danish brand’s products continue to be made to an outstandingly high quality at VOLA’s factory at Horsens in Denmark. The fascinating films are bound to enchant a new generation of architects and interior designers.

×The second of these, entitled Infinite Possibilities, zeroes in on the fundamental, modular aspect of VOLA’s designs and manufacturing principles — also a key concern of modernism. This modular approach also ensures that VOLA’s range is infinitely flexible.
VOLA’s minimalist taps come in a broad spectrum of finishes — from zingy pop hues to rich, metallic tones

×The foundation for this was laid by Jacobsen’s decision to conceal the mechanical parts of his designs — a prime example being the 111 family of mixers, handles, spouts and plates — and create a range that was flexible. This in turn has ensured the longevity of VOLA’s products which, widely used in the 1960s, are still specified today. Available in myriad finishes, some deliciously colourful, others with unique metallic finishes, they offer consumers limitless creative scope. Each VOLA product is made to order, further reinforcing this much prized individuality.
Watch out for the other films charting VOLA’s fascinating past, present and future, to be released this year. As people increasingly crave personalised products, VOLA’s future looks very bright, very assured.
