Our light switch systems made of porcelain, Bakelite, ceramic. The porcelain and Bakelite switch systems have been developed by THPG. They are being manufactured in Westphalia (switch mechanisms, Bakelite covers and central inserts) and in Thuringia (porcelain covers and central inserts). The materials used, porcelain and Bakelite / thermosetting plastics, have a long tradition in electrical engineering and still have important advantages: they insulate even high voltages safely, they withstand heat and fire for a long time and they are very insensitive to mechanical influences (impact, scratches), they do not yellow or bleach and they can be easily cleaned with common household agents. They are new originals (and not "vintage or retro mockups") with material thicknesses from 2.5 mm (Bakelite covers) to 13 mm (porcelain covers). The interior is corresponding.
