The wall in a room is a core component in room design. The Rasch family company can look back on a long tradition of wall design that began in 1861. Even in the early days, the then owner Emil Rasch sought contact with the art scene. He managed to win over the artists of the Bauhaus school, and an internal student competition resulted in 1930 in the first Bauhaus wallpaper collection.
This tradition is continued to this day, and time and again we manage to delight renowned artists for the product "wallpaper". In order to set international trends, we have a number of our own studios in Germany, the UK, France and Russia. This symbiosis of artists and our own studios enables the Rasch Group to respond to customer wishes dynamically and yet with sensitivity. The designs are produced according to the "zeitgeist" at Bramsche near Osnabrück in Germany, and sent out all over the world.
From this tremendous product potential, we realised that many of the wallpapers and fabrics in our collections are suitable for the contract sector. Our aim is to bundle these products under the brand "Rasch Contract". As a new brand for the contract sector, Rasch Contract wants to become one of the leading providers in the premium segment for architects, interior architects, designers and planning offices.
