Luciana Costantin
Profile
Luciana Costantin is an architect with post-graduation in Administration and Marketing at Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in São Paulo, Brazil and a major in Commercial Design and Marketing at Accademia Italiana di Arte, Moda e Design in Florence, Italy.
From 1996 to 1998 she worked for architecture studios in Brazil and abroad (Piratininga Arquitetos e Associados, CR 90 Studio di Architettura, Italy and Architectos S/C Ltda) participating in residential, commercial and corporate projects.
In 1998 she started her activities in the lighting department at Philips do Brasil Ltda, where she was in charge of the LITEC - Lighting Technology Center, the largest and most advanced lighting center of Latin America. She developed and held classes, lectures and workshops for about 6,000 among architects, engineers, designers, decorators and other professionals. She also conducted lectures during important events throughout the country.
From 2000 to 2001 she was a consultant for some known companies in the lighting field. One year later, she was invited to coordinate a lighting design office, result of an operational agreement with ERCO Lighting.
In 2005 she created her own independent firm, Acenda Lighting Project and since then has been providing services, developing lighting and special luminary projects, offering guidance from the purchase of an equipment to its final installation. Acenda Lighting Project promotes lighting as an integrating part of the development of architecture, interior design and physical, mental well-being of its customers. The firm’s goal is to provide several types of businesses with lighting that is adequate and sensitive enough to cause an impact and to surprise customers in a playful, comfortable and functional manner aiming to reduce installation, consumption and system maintenance.
Affiliated to the Brazilian Association of Illumination Architects (AsBAI) since 2005, Luciana Costantin is a member of IES – Illuminating Engineering Society since 2008.
