The Metal Mosaic Tile is an ALLOY innovation, first conceived and designed by Jonathon Worner, ALLOY’s Design Director, in 1998. Each ALLOY tile is designed and made to order in Australia from a 1.6mm thick sheet of the highest quality solid metal to ensure a consistent and unsurpassed finish to suit the most discerning designer.
The unique ALLOY tile sheets are long lasting and hardwearing and have been immaculately designed and rigorously tested to last a lifetime. Unlike poor imitations that often use inferior grade metals, ALLOY tiles contain no backing mesh, plastic/resin inserts or metal look-‐alike "metallic" coatings so they won't dent, crack or de-‐laminate. ALLOY’s specially developed mesh-‐less mounting system protects the surface of the tile on site and gives designers the option create a more contemporary, seamless look without the use of grout – which is not required (in non-‐wet areas).
