Florian Kaiser (Dipl.-Ing. architect), born 1987 in Biberach a. d. Riß, Germany, studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and graduated with several honors in 2012. During his studies he worked in different offices in Stuttgart, London and Beijing. After his diploma he worked at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel. He teaches at the University of Stuttgart, at the ibk3 (Building Construction and Design, Chair 3), Prof. Jens Ludloff since 2016 and founded together with Guobin Shen the architectural office „Atelier Kaiser Shen“ in 2017.
Guobin Shen (Dipl.-Ing. architect), born 1984 in Zhejiang, China, studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and graduated with several honors in 2012. Collaborations with different offices in Stuttgart, Basel and Shanghai, among others at Herzog & de Meuron and as a project manager at kreuger wilkins architects. 2014-2016 tutor at the University of Stuttgart, at the si (Urban Planning Department) Prof. Helmut Bott / Prof. Franz Pesch. Since 2016 he teaches at the irge (Spatial Conceptions and Principles of Design), Prof. Markus Allmann at the University of Stuttgart.
In 2017 he founded together with Florian Kaiser the architectural office „Atelier Kaiser Shen“. Hans-Christian Bäcker (B.Sc. Architecture), born 1990 in Rottweil, Germany, studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 2014. Since 2014 Master student at the University of Stuttgart. Collaborations with offices in Stuttgart and Melbourne. In 2012 he realized together with Florian Kaiser at the iöb (Public Building and Design), Prof. Arno Lederer, a nursery school in the township Waterworks near Cape Town. Since 2017 collaboration with Atelier Kaiser Shen.
