Norbert Beck. Founder
Norbert Beck, born in 1959, was originally trained as a teacher of art and handicraft before he founded his own design studio in 1988 and started a business as a freelance furniture designer.
The Company BECK DESIGN
The Germany based design office around the autodidact Norbert Beck combines a high standard of quality and timeless design with southern casualness and elegance. Model making in their own studio is an important element of the working process. Ideas are refined, functions are tested and proportions are checked until meaningful models are formed. From the first sketch of an idea through the entire working and development period, BECK DESIGN, with the support of Silja Beck since 2013, accompanies the products until they are ready for series production. This results in designs that are precisely adapted to the needs of the respective manufacturers.
