The German label FLAT’N has rethought everything you know about carpets and rugs. Since 2014 it has designed fascinating, artful carpet images for both private and professional use. We at FLAT'N create timeless and modern rugs which combine highest quality, functionality and unique designs.

When we first toyed with the idea of a different carpeting experience, it was out of necessity. For a product presentation in a large commercial project, we needed an individual floor cover. So we commissioned a carpet and fell in love with the possibilities that new technologies created.

FLAT’N is based on these possibilities, as it is not about following trends, but nurturing new ideas and sustainable innovation. In that regard, one of the most exciting facets of the brand is the use of the Chromojet printing method. Using this technique FLAT’N is not just printing motives on the surface, but infusing the colour deeper into the fabric to achieve long-term colouring.

MADE IN GERMANY: DESIGN PRINTS THAT STAND OUT.
To accomplish this, the Cologne-based company is using a small, all German, supply chain. We have a very short, transparent production chain and know all our partners personally!

Additionally, all rugs are using preferably a high-quality wool tufting velour, which on its own weighs around 3 kilogrammes per square metre. The company concept uses Chromojet printing technology to create and print the designs only on high-quality materials. The standard wool tufted velour we are using is made of 80% virgin wool and 20% polyamide (2,900 g/m2) with a felt back serves as the foundation. Up to other 24 material qualities are available and could be chosen up to the specifications of the architect or specifiers requirements.

Furthermore, the company’s greatest asset is its creative working process. All aspects of the final rug are dictated by an initial idea. In the extensive collection one will not find simple carpets, but endless unique designs which all can be individualized by the customer. So through continuous dialogue, the brand invites its audience to take part in the creation of these designs and to experience the quality first hand. We provide a truly wide range of design solutions for professionals and individuals at the same time. Our wish is to present a multidimensional design approach, allowing professionals as well as our clients to have the choice of an exclusive, but at the same time a wide range of design idea pool.

We offer an inspiration for professionals that search ideas and suggestions for new floor coverings and solutions for their individual project. We can offer single rug solutions and small order quantities for even the smallest project. Our In-House design team can adjust or customize any product from our range and also supports individual solutions for the professional customer. To fit the requirements of all projects, all of our materials are manufactured mainly for the commercial projects sector, possessing the highest certifications of heavy commercial use norms.

Our rug solutions come for sure in magnificent colours and print quality, with an excellent feel and high sound absorption. Our outstanding rugs combine high-quality material and colour technology. What defines the production of our rugs is the use of innovative printing concepts which allows creativity to be combined with process colour technology for extreme clarity, speed and the ability to offer a variety of rug qualities and diverse backings. We offer certified products for heavy commercial use recommended for areas with heavy traffic as well as residential use.
