Our philosophy

Gruber+Schlager has been making furniture for some 50 years. An activitiy that has long ceased to be merely a business and instead primarily represents a desire to match the demands placed on the living area in line with the motto that “living is not a state, but a feeling!”

A great deal has changed in the course of time and today furniture is influenced by international fashion trends. However, every piece that leaves our production bears our personal signature.

This also applies to the furniture and projects that are realised with architects and implemented in the production shops. Among Gruber+Schlager’s major strengths in this area are the possibilities that the company offers for diverse material combinations and processing techniques.
Moreover, in combination with sufficient capacity, flexible handing in the project management area facilitates the provision of maximum security for complex commissions.

Variable planning programmes, which extend from veneered versions and painted surfaces, to solid wood pieces in the living, eating, working and sleeping areas.

We bring current furniture trends into line with our independent and timeless furnishings programme. The red dot award and the German International Design prize represent confirmation of our systematic design approach.

Expert craftsmanship and flexible production are implemented using the latest production equipment and technologies.

Quality “Made in Austria”. The Austrian quality seal and the National Prize for Wood Marketing constitute a guarantee of uniform quality.

Flexibility and made to measure furniture. All the furniture programmes are produced exclusively upon commission.
