Mark Jan Meerdink was educated as a sculptor at De Ateliers (f.k.a. Ateliers '63), a postacademic art institute for young artists. In the 90’s Meerdink designed logos and interiors for bars and nightclubs in Amsterdam. After ten years of graphic design and art direction he has been concentrating on the combination of interior and design since 2002. Winoldi is the name of his studio. Meerdink works on assignments from (interior) architects, companies, and private persons. He specialises in made to measure exclusive (3D) feature walls, interior objects and roomdividers. Covers is a spinoff product from one off these design assignments.

The artists Nicole Driessens & Ivo van den Baar founded their company WANSCHAPPEN in 1999. From then, they have developed a serious art practice, together with a strong design career. Via several Dutch design networks and international design fairs in Eindhoven, Moskou and Paris, the Feltplant Collection has become well known in design retail and the architectural world all over Europe. The design practice of WANDSCHAPPEN have been related closely to the work of MOOOI, Marcel Wanders, Thomas Eyck, Christien Meindertsma , Scholten & Baijings, Jens Praet Industry Gallery and Victor Hunt, for whom WANDSCHAPPEN has developed projects in the past and still does. This collaboration has always led to very fertile projects. WANDSCHAPPEN has been strongly connected to the area they live and work in.
