LAARK - Laungaard Arkitekter

Laark – Laungaard Arkitekter was founded in 2010 by Michael W. Laungaard.

Michel studied at KADK - The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.
Michael started his career at AA Architect as a constructor. After some time he moved on to Arkitema where the sense for the grip and conceptual thinking started to develop for real.

After that he moved on to a position at Rytter Architect with project management on various projects. The urge for full control over the grip and conceptual process led to the start of LAARK in 2010. Today the firm is growing rapidly and constantly in development.

Laungaard Architects is an architectural firm that since 2010 has been dealing with new building and renovation. We work with everything from sketching of ideas, design work, contact with authorities, detailed design and construction management.

The studio consists of 3-4 architects and has regularly study personnel and trainees. We have a wide network and good cooperation with various external consultants, such as engineers and landscape architects. The last project finalised were a renovation of the 250year old school – Efterslægten. Here also the sports centre NOBIS were built. The project was awarded with 5 stars from Danish Politiken.
