Since 1918, Dorstener Drahtwerke have manufactured top-class drawn wire, wire cloths and welded mesh. We use our long-standing tradition and experience in the production of wire to develop niche products of high quality for our target markets. We produce for the automotive industry, the chemical industry, the mechanical engineering, the agricultural and many others.
For architecture and design, Dorstener Drahtwerke features a special product line: MeshArt™ - woven and welded wire mesh for decorative and functional uses. MeshArt™ offers a range of product varieties: from a fine filigree to larger more open, rigid or flexible, clear or opaque – the upmarket finish creates interest and sets special accents – both indoors and outdoors.

Materials:
All products are available in corrosion resistant stainless steel (aisi 304 and aisi 316). This material is not flammable and has exceptional resistance to outdoor elements. A lasting investment with low maintenance cost. Aluminium and galvanized steel is not in our standard but also possible. Especially popular is our fine, unique metal mesh made of brass and bronze.
Cut to size pieces:
Depending on the product we often supply cut to size pieces or rolled material. We have limitations which you will find below in our product data sheets.
Inventory and delivery time:
We often ship in a few days from stock. Custom orders can normally be supplier in several weeks, sometimes 2-3 month.
