Studio Heima

Studio Heima is an architecture and interior design studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Founded by architectural duo, Casper Berntsen and Aldís Gísladóttir, the studio reflects their Icelandic and Bornholmian roots, as well as the designers’ own personal and contemporary expression. The design studio works throughout the Nordic region, specializing in architecture work within the intersection of architecture, restoration and interior design.

We work with a multifaceted approach, utilising sustainable and aesthetic solutions where the architecture pays homage to the space’s character and context, and allows for the design to create a dialogue between the space and the concept. Through the combination of the use of natural materials and our detail-orientated approach, we strive to create long-lasting architecture with personality.

We are fascinated by and interested in the people we design for. Through close collaboration with our clients, we aim to design personal and sustainable solutions. To us, it is key to remain honest and transparent throughout the entire design process as well as loyal to the space, regardless of the extent of the project, and we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with our clients to bring their vision to life.
