Most of all SUPERBLOCK has finished apartment buildings in Vienna the last few years, including a multi-storey building for cross-cultural living at the area of the former northern railwaystation (“wohnen mit scharf!”), a wooden apartment complex made of semi-finished components (“Haustrift”) or their own office- and apartmentbuilding (“NEU 31”) at the edge of the city. 3 apartment buildings at the new city quarter “Seestadt Aspern” will be finished next. Last year the office could gladly win quite a few competitions, recently the competition for a new residential area in Munich / Hanauerstrasse (“Quartier M”). Nevertheless SUPERBLOCK was also part of several cooperative urban-planning-processes in Vienna and is also one of the contractors of the urban renewal group of the city. Right now they are realizing an urban outline planning in Oranienburg (close to Berlin) with almost 600 residential units, after they won the ideas competition in 2013.
