Profile
Nature is the subject matter and medium of our daily work. Based on the given brief and the specific context of the site, we develop programs and concepts and establish interdisciplinary dialogues with architects, artists and planners.
As partner of Kienast Vogt Partners and owner/director of VOGT, Günther Vogt and his team have more than twenty years’ experience working regularly on projects of national and international acclaim in collaboration with high profile architectural firms. This includes Herzog & de Meuron (Tate Modern, London; Laban Centre, London; Helvetia Patria, St Gallen; Munich Stadium; Messe Basel), Dominique Perrault (Boulogne Billancourt, Paris), Atelier Peter Zumthor (Museum, Cologne; Novartis Training Centre, Risch), Christ und Gantenbein (Swiss National Museum, Zurich), Frank Gehry Partners (Novartis Campus, Basel), Norman Foster Partners (Swiss Re, London), Fletcher Priest (East Village, London) and Future Systems (Southwark Academy, London). Artists with whom we have a history and/or ongoing collaboration include Sol Lewitt, Hamish Fulton, Olafur Eliasson, Laurie Anderson, Dan Graham and Erik Steinbrecher.
During the course of the project’s technical development, concrete solutions mature and insights emerge. Realistic images materialise – significant, present and true. Our commitment is focused on vegetation. In plants, life becomes visible and brings processes within our range of experience.
VOGT was established in 2000. Currently, a staff of over forty employees works at our offices in Zurich, London and Berlin, developing projects of all types and sizes with the help of state of the art CAD facilities and our specific, model-based design method. VOGT have realised many highly regarded national and international projects in Europe and other parts of the world.
