Discovery Floor

Discovery now becomes square or rectangular, creating backdrops that structure the space through presence and absence. As with the other luminaires from the Discovery family, the highlight reveals itself when switched on: As if by magic, the seemingly empty frame transforms into a homogeneous disc of light. This effect is achieved with the help of Edgelight technology: an LED strip embedded in the luminaire frame turns the inner surface of almost transparent acrylic glass into an emission surface that distributes its light pleasantly and evenly. Not only the new shape but also the introduction of colored light and dimmable white intensify the magic and scenography of the luminaire. Discovery Space captivates not only as an eye-catcher: the homogeneously illuminated surface ensures optimal visual comfort and meets the UGR standards for workplaces in any form of installation.
