BIO Armchair

BIO is a light and most comfortable armchair, inspired by Gemla's history of making cinema chairs in the early 1900's.

Carefully designed to suit the hotel room and lounge, but works just as well at the office and living room.

BIO is made in solid ash where the armrest is steam bent by hand in one single piece, and carefully shaped into its embracing curve.

The light backrest offers the highest of comfort, richly padded with natural upholstery.

The generous seat is built with an elastic core and natural upholstery of horsehair and wool.

BIO is offered in hardwax oil or stain finish, dressed in vegetable tanned leather or textile in various versions.

Thanks to the clever construction of only 7 form elements, BIO, despite its lightness and low weight, is a strong construction, created to withstand even high wear and tear in public environments.
