With the Scarlet Hotel, situated 80 kilometers west of Plymouth, three sisters realized a joint dream – to offer a refuge for stressed city dwellers. Luxury, but without the snobbishness. In 37 rooms, the view extends over the cliffs out into the Atlantic. Sustainability is ensured by the use of selected long-lasting, ecologically-aware materials and an efficient water recycling system.

With this in mind, the Pontos AquaCycle 9000 graywater recycling system from Hansgrohe ensures that water from showers and bathtubs is reused for flushing toilets and urinals. This multi-stage, resource-saving recycling process is 100% biological-mechanical.

In addition, Hansgrohe AG also provides all faucets for the bathrooms and spa area. The Raindance AIR overhead showers offer the guests a rain shower inspired by nature. The Axor Citterio collection brings subtle luxury into the bathrooms. The consciously open architecture integrates the bathrooms – most of which have free-standing bathtubs – into the hotel room, all of which have outside access. In this way, the rooms represent the philosophy of the Scarlet Hotel: to completely look after the body and soul of the guests and to harmonize inside and outside. An exclusive, fully-ecological stay.
