The listed building is a Jugendstil country estate built in 1913. Because of its exceptionally well preserved building stock and interior, since 1993 the building has been listed as a cultural landmark with special distinction in the registry of monuments. The former residence has been converted into a contemporary seminar and conference facility with up-to-date media equipment and office spaces.
The building surfaces and elements were carefully renovated and augmented in close cooperation with the conservator, the building trades and the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments.
The hallways provide an impressive entryway and location for hospitality. Adjacent spaces have been redesigned for catering with a kitchenette. The historic salon and dining room and the basement level room overlooking the garden now function as training rooms. These have been equipped with modern media technology and controlled lighting in the ceiling.
By adding facing to all installations and lighting fixtures the former "exit" has been converted into a modern foyer. The living spaces on the second floor have been converted to office space. The toilettes on all floors have been judiciously refurbished in keeping with the original building stock. The gallery banisters were carefully raised and stabilized in keeping with current building codes. Smaller interior fittings have been augmented.
