In the Millennium Park residential district in Moscow there is a private villa designed to capture the view and the natural light and, at the same time, recall the local architectural tradition. An exclusive residence for which elegant collections by FAP ceramiche, one of the leading operators in the production of porcelain stoneware and white paste surfaces, have been chosen for the interiors.
The contemporary architecture of this project makes use of a rich selection of coverings to give shape to spaces and to lend personality to the environments: from the large living room to the open kitchen, to the bathrooms and rooms on the upper floors.
The reception room floor is covered with the luxurious Roma Statuario Lux collection in the 75x150 cm size, which reproduces with great authenticity the particular colour characteristics of marble and lends the living area an exclusive character. In the kitchen, in the niche created for the washing area and the worktop, the Maku Trace Dark insert stands out on the wall in the 60x60 cm size, contrasting with the light colour chosen for the furnishings and the floor.
The coverings are also a major feature of the master and guest bathrooms: Roma Calacatta is the collection chosen for the guest bathroom on the first floor with 25x75 cm sizes and Micromosaico on the wall, while the same Roma Calacatta is used, with Macromosaico tesserae, for the floor.
There is a combination of different styles and materials in the bathroom on the second floor, the floor being covered with the Firenze series in Black, White and Grey – 25x21,5 cm size. Boston Round Mosaico Blu Petrolio stand out in the shower area, while on the walls there is Boston Petrolio 7.5x30 cm together with the brilliant Lumina White Gloss collection and Diamante surface structure – 50x110 cm size – enhanced by the Satinato Silver listel.
For the guests’ comfort, one of the sophisticated environments of the villa contains a welcoming Turkish bath made in Macromosaico 30x30 cm from the Terra collection, in Malta colour. The wall, instead, is covered with the refined Roma Grafite series, which faithfully reproduces the natural stone and is decorated with the precious Raku listel. The romantic wooden tub completes the wellness area.
The design of the environments is fluid and sophisticated with a mix of traditional and modern elements that express an original way to interpret the style of the Russian residence. The assignment of this project is just the latest confirmation of the important work of FAP ceramiche aimed at meeting the most demanding project requirements, guaranteed by the high level of aesthetic research and technological innovation achieved over the years by a company which is a symbol of Made in Italy ceramics throughout the world.
