Fotógrafo: We Make Them Wonder
The “berge” guesthouse in the Chiemgau certainly has a plethora of stories to tell. After all, it has been there for approximately 350 years. Nils Holger Moormann acquired the building in 2005 and renovated it with a great deal of sensitivity.
The philosophy of the “berge” is a logical reflection of the Moormann rule: “Alles weglassen, was unnötig ist” - “Drop anything that's unnecessary.” No luxury, no television, and even the phone signal likes to take time out occasionally…
In return, each of the 16 differently-sized holiday flats have been individually furnished with great attention to detail. Nowhere else can Moormann furniture be trialled and experienced in such a relaxed atmosphere, allowing the user to literally “grasp” the concept of each furniture invention.
The “berge” has already won numerous international design awards.
