The LUKB in Schüpfheim: Take a look at the bank of the future
The Luzerner Kantonalbank (LUKB) opens the first branch in Schüpfheim, which is designed according to its newly developed customer hall concept and thus becomes a place for meeting and advice. A bank is waiting for customers which is forward-looking in various respects and which underlines LUKB's commitment to the Schüpfheim location.
Tailored to the new needs of customers
With the increasing digitalization of the banking business, the role of the branch offices is also changing. In particular, the number of cash transactions - whether at the counter or at the machine - has been declining for some time. LUKB is reacting to this change by further developing its customer halls from a "place of the transaction" to a "place of encounter and advice". With the new concept, employees have even more time to provide customers with comprehensive and competent advice at the branch offices. In parallel to the digitalization trend, bank customers' demand for trust and personal relationships is increasing. That is why LUKB specifically strengthens personal advice as well as technical support.
The branches of LUKB will be made even more attractive for customers and at the same time they can be used more flexibly.
Inviting and cozy
The friendly and open design makes the customer hall in Schüpfheim a meeting place for all visitors. LUKB employees receive their customers as hosts, accompanying them to a consultation table in the customer hall or to a discreet consultation room as required. A reception desk in the conventional sense is missing. The waiting area is comfortably designed and invites to a spontaneous chat.
The NOVIS LOFTdesktop complements this friendly and open design in a homely atmosphere with given restraint. At the reception and in consulting, as well as at the eLearning stations where customers can immerse themselves in the digital world of LUKB, it provides access to the digital possibilities in an appealing aesthetic.
The bank becomes a meeting and event location
With the new, flexible and modular room concept and the adapted job profiles for the employees in the customer hall, the Luzerner Kantonalbank also pursues the goal of developing the bank in Schüpfheim into a social meeting point. Like this the rooms can also be used for events in the future.
