Family House. Urban Oasis.
The project reflects the "vision of the family lifestyle", with the aim that the final project is "timeless and exudes a discreet luxury". With this in mind, incredible examples of designer furniture from France and Italy were playfully juxtaposed with contemporary and custom-made items, achieving the desired mark of measured sobriety.

Conceived as an urban oasis, this residence in Almería is inspired by the long history of artists who have traditionally sought a haven of tranquility on the Andalusian coast.

A combination of minimalist, richly textured and exquisitely detailed interiors with a series of outdoor spaces that allow for the seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, a must in southern Spain.

Eclectically furnished as a reflection of the owners' deep-rooted passion for furniture, and including spaces for gardening, reading and meditation, the house is a paradigm of compositional delicacy, exemplifying how an urban dwelling can serve as a tranquil sanctuary.

Backed by a minimalist aesthetic of muted tones and clean lines, the interiors are light and airy, courtesy of high ceilings, sparse furnishings, and expansive custom-designed wood-framed windows. Large windows allow green views of the gardens to take center stage, complementing the understated interior design with vibrant accents.

The feel of an urban oasis is enhanced by a richly textured palette of handmade and natural materials, such as warm white plaster finishes, hardwood floors and marble surfaces. Wall sections painted in a subtle blush and bolder turquoise add colorful accents, a series of bronze fixtures, including pendant lights and modernist sconces by Emmanuelle Simon as sculptural highlights, infusing the home with exuberance. The result of such a thoughtful and meticulous design process is a residence of timeless sophistication that nonetheless feels fresh and modern.

Minimalist in design and austere in decoration, the interior is furnished with contemporary pieces, including renowned firms Fornace Brioni, Gessi, Ceccotti, Richard Wrightman, Finn Juhl and Vaselli, mixed with iconic pieces such as the PH Architoke by Louise Poulsen and the traditional Tessa chair by Flexform. Chairs that pay tribute to the artisan heritage.
