"With a minimalist yet sophisticated design, Ciak, the director’s chair by Stefan Diez is crafted in extruded aluminium, with stainless steel elements combined with outdoor technical fabric. Its collapsible structure is drawing a minimalistic outline although is the result of a rather sophisticated technical translation. Few elements are imbricated into each other to produce a surprisingly stable seat.
The main hallmarks of the chair are the exploration of form, attention to detail and blend of technological materials that come together to create a solid, timeless product, suitable for a variety of settings. The armrest is in tone-ontone painted beech. The seat comes with an original footrest.”
