×From February 7 to 11, 2025, Ambiente will showcase a variety of design hotspots. A special highlight is the new Ambiente designer, Fabian Freytag. With 'The Lounge – Shades of Space', he is designing a special presentation in Galleria 1 as an inviting meeting place for everyone. By selecting this multiple award-winning designer, Ambiente once again emphasises its role as a focal point for the international design scene and further expands the growth segments of hospitality and contract business. The range for the hospitality industry will be conceptually reimagined and expanded for Ambiente 2025.
'Roaming, restaurants, rooms – that's where I get my inspiration from,' explains Fabian Freytag. 'The diversity of Europe, with its different cities, architecture and rich cultural landscape, is still the source of my creativity today.' Born in Hamburg in 1984 and based in Berlin, the cosmopolitan designer, who describes himself as a 'gentle radical,' creates interiors for fans of the new, advocates of the unseen and lovers of bold decisions. He integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into the creative process. With his design for The Lounge, Freytag uses selected exhibitor products to create inviting worlds of style for the hospitality space of tomorrow, offering visitors from the hospitality and contract business sectors maximum inspiration for their work.
New perspectives and insights are guaranteed—both literally and figuratively. As Fabian Freytag invites visitors: 'Let's open our eyes and learn to see.'

×Product stage for commercial property outfitters
With Ambiente 2025, the world's leading international trade fair for consumer goods is repositioning its offering for industrial consumers. With an eye to the future, Ambiente is expanding its portfolio for furnishing and fitting out commercial properties. This applies to both the hospitality sector and properties outside the hospitality industry, such as international real estate projects or workspaces.
Starting next year, anyone furnishing and equipping hospitality properties will find a comprehensive range of products under the 'Hospitality' banner. In addition to the range for the hospitality industry in Hall 11.0, previously known as HoReCa, the Special Interest Hospitality will also include suppliers from other Dining halls with their own product lines for the hospitality industry, as well as exhibitors from the Living area of Ambiente, such as Interiors & Decoration in Hall 3.0 and Interior Design in Hall 3.1. Exhibitors from the Office Design & Solutions range at Ambiente Working in Hall 3.1 will now complement the comprehensive range for the hospitality industry, alongside selected exhibitors from the new Interior Looks brand area. This platform offers high-quality brands from the furniture and furnishing industry—such as Bielefelder Werkstätten, Bordbar, Christine Kroencke Interior Design, Fine Furniture, Ipdesign, JAB Anstoetz Group, Raasch, Rodam, Scholtissek, Serax and Signet—a dedicated stage to showcase their unique product ranges and innovations.
As a result, commercial buyers will be guided more specifically to companies with expertise in equipping hotels, restaurants, caterers, cruise ships and similar venues with dining or interior ranges and product lines tailored to the hospitality industry. Likewise, furnishers and fitters of real estate outside the hospitality industry will find a comprehensive range of products and services under the Special Interest Contract Business category.
Exhibitors from both programmes will be featured in a separate printed guide available at the event. They will also be clearly labelled at their stands and in the online exhibitor search to enhance navigation for attendees.

×Talents 2025: Newcomers set strong impulses
'Think local, act sustainable' – this phrase aptly describes the design approach currently inspiring many young designers to pursue sustainable innovations and product alternatives. This trend is also reflected in the Talents promotional programme. With strong concepts and a high level of creativity, 28 young design talents from 11 countries will provide clear impetus for the future of consumer goods.
What drives the young generation? What solutions are they pursuing? And who could become the design stars of tomorrow? The curated Talents area at Ambiente in Interior Design Hall 3.1 offers possible answers. This year, participants hail from countries such as Finland, Japan, Poland, Sweden and the USA. What unites them is their shared desire to redesign the product world—often finding inspiration right on their own doorsteps.
