×In today’s luxury shops, hotels and restaurants, ambience is everything. The aim of the designer is to generate an instinctive, emotive response to the space by considering every single detail from the ceiling to the floor.
“In hospitality areas, more than anywhere else, walls, and how they are decorated, are particularly important,” says Fabrizio Storchi, Atlas Concorde’s Marketing Director. “Guests, often without knowing, seek out boundaries that can give them a sense of the familiar and of security, and their gaze glances over the furnishing to settle on the walls.”

×But these environments also experience heavier wear and tear and higher footfall than most. Atlas Concorde’s versatile and innovative collections can help interior designers create a truly unique, holistic experiences without compromising on durability.
Among these is the three-dimensional 3D Wall Stars wall tile, which transforms a flat surface with geometric textures and clean lines. Ideally suited to contemporary restaurant design, the patterned and mosaic-effect Arkshade collection now features a range of bold, rich colours as well as a more neutral palette, while the more minimalist Kone range mimics limestone, combining a subtle sense of formality and comforting familiarity that lends itself to a discreet hotel lobby environment.

×Retail spaces are among the most challenging. “Shopping areas must now also offer customers a fully immersive experience,” explains Storchi. “A showroom that works is the perfect stage setting for an exclusive shopping experience where fashion and design, quality and style all become a single item.”
Atlas Concorde’s Marvel Gems range responds to this demanding brief with a design inspired by Venetian terrazzo, for the creation of bespoke, high-impact designs that place the focus on the customer experience.
