The German carpet company OBJECT CARPET manufactures products that are proven to protect the environment and health. The entire product cycle is taken into consideration, because the material used should never end up in the rubbish bin, but rather in a new, sustainable cycle.
When the product comes full circle, the goal is achieved. The textile floorings from OBJECT CARPET are part of a room, but also part of a new philosophy of life

×From a buzzword, a trend, has emerged a serious matter: Sustainability. OBJECT CARPET isn’t wasting any time and doing what needs to be done. Because there is a lot at stake, namely saving the world.
Caught in a net of passion. Together with the Healthy Seas initiative and Aquafil, which produces the high-tech fibre ECONYL, OBJECT CARPET is making a valuable contribution to the health of our oceans

×For OBJECT CARPET, sustainability is not an advertising stunt, it’s a responsibility. The company uses all available means to manufacture products that demonstrably protect the environment and health. As a member of the Community of Environmentally Friendly Carpets and the German Sustainable Building Council, they put all their energy into bringing everything into harmony in the best possible way: Design, quality and environmental compatibility, confirmed by the Blue Angel seal of approval of the German Federal Environment Agency and the CRI Green Label Plus certificate. In order to achieve this high standard, which is also a personal concern, the carpets are made of ECONYL by Aquafil. This sets in motion a regeneration process that saves around 3,800 tonnes of crude oil alone.

×Since January 2019, OBJECT CARPET has been a partner of the HEALTHY SEAS initiative, which takes so-called "ghost nets" from the world's oceans, thus actively expressing its commitment to preserving our environment. As critical as the situation may be, there remain many opportunities to make it right, and perhaps even slowly recover. OBJECT CARPET uses recycled carpet yarn for its production and turns a waste product into a durable design product, manufactured with a resource-saving high-tech fibre. The plan: the lifespan of a material should no longer be one that ends up in the rubbish bin, but in a new, sustainable cycle where everyone wins. OBJECT CARPET brings this important process full circle for future generations: from net to carpet, but then onwards from carpet to carpet to carpet.
