Caimi Brevetti, founded in 1949, has built its identity relying on research and design. Ten years after the big exhibition “Today is already tomorrow”, Caimi Brevetti is back in Triennale. The company, one of the main manufacturers in the furniture and furniture complements markets, presents at the 21st Triennale in Milano the show “Snowsound by Caimi. Design as you never heard it” with main topic the sound and the importance of a correct acoustic design in public and domestic spaces.
The location is interesting as well. It is the “Cavallerizze” a 1800 m2 area which is the outcome of an important restoration work by the National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci”.
Snowsound Technologies by Caimi Brevetti are highly innovative and patented and have gathered the most prestigious international awards while constantly evolving. Unique systems considering both the applied technologies and the idea of sound absorbing elements intended as furniture complements capable of cross-over applicability in every environment in order to solve acoustic problems.
Caimi Brevetti has always interpreted design as the aesthetic and expressive solution to everyday issues, from work to leisure, from homes to huge collective cultural spaces. All of this is perpetuated through the patenting logic in order to guarantee originality and innovation of the project.
Planning and developing new technologies means entering a completely original alphabet. Caimi Brevetti, thanks to its Snowsound Technologies and the interpretations of designers such as Sezgin Aksu, Lorenzo Damiani, Michele De Lucchi, Moreno Ferrari, Alberto and Francesco Meda, Alessandro and Francesco Mendini, Lorenzo Palmeri, Marc Sadler, represents a unique manufacturing experience especially with regards to what constitutes the original and unrepeatable identity of “Made in Italy”: “design as the language of differences”.
All the various solutions developed by each designer can be brought back to the definition of design where the person is the main character. In the 21st century, this means, for Caimi Brevetti, “Design after Design”.
