About CAFx PROGRAM x 2018
This year’s festival features a variety of more than 200 public events on home, housing and belonging in the cities of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense and Aalborg. Experience the wide breadth of the architecture field through more than 50 different films, exhibitions, lectures, debates, city walks, bicycle tours, workshops, conferences, and more.
The festival examines and communicates the relationship between architecture, the city and everyday life through an interdisciplinary program that is open to the public and reaches far beyond the built environment.
HOUSING HOMES delves into questions about home, housing and belonging: What is a home? What does it mean to be at home, to create a home, to feel at home? How do we respond to pertinent challenges such as climate change, migration, rising house prices, the pressures of urbanization, segregation, changing demographics, etc. in our ways of living and organizing ourselves?
Distinguished guests that you can meet during the festival this year include: Rafael Moneo, Jan Gehl, Anupama Kundoo, Niklas Maak, Christopher Roth & Arno Brandlhuber, Béka & Lemoine, Lene Tranberg, René Boer, URBANUS and many more.
