Even before the public will have the opportunity to view the new DEDON collections in the showrooms, the company's new products for 2009 have already received the »iF product design award 2009« no less than four times. In competition with 2808 products by manufacturers and designers from a total of 39 countries DEDON impressed the prestigious expert jury with its SLIM LINE, SEASHELL, GREEN and SUMMER CLOUD collections. The »iF product design awards« have been presented since 1953.

The SLIM LINE lounge chair is the essence of lightness. Designer Jean-Marie Massaud has combined clear lines and harmonious forms with the timeless art of weaving, creating a synergy of timeless elegance, quality and comfort.

In the SUMMER CLOUD collection the classical sun lounger receives a new look: the Beach Chair, developed by the designer trio EOOS, unites recliner and fabric canopy in a unique design object.

We can all create our own oasis and come closer to nature again. This is the principle on which DEDON has developed the GREEN room divider, also designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. It enables plants to take over the design and grow, spreading until they become one with GREEN.
