Style is not a question of age, as proven by the new ErgoSystem® A100. FSB has incorporated its entire architectural expertise into its development, and thus created a range of barrier-free products for the bathroom area that will allow people of all ages to live their lives more comfortably and attractively.
Functionality, ergonomics, aesthetics – these three aspects have for years characterised FSB’s ErgoSystem®. The proven stainless-steel system called E300 for barrier-free design in complex bathroom settings has now been supplemented with a powder-coated aluminium version (A100). It extends the possibilities in terms of budget attractiveness, handling and interior coordination to include other applications, such as incorporation into private bathrooms. What both system versions have in common is the basic idea of the diagonal orientation of an oval handle cross-section, which is unique in the market. It systematically follows the laws of grip ergonomics, enabling greater comfort and a more secure hold when gripping with less force.
The new versions in different-colour aluminium considerably expand the functional and optical design possibilities with all system components. Six different colour combinations in different sheens, ranging from completely matt to high gloss, are offered. The colour concept is based on three coatings (anemone white, oyster grey and anthracite grey metallic), with components able to be supplied in one uniform colour or as selected colour combinations. This modular system offers planners completely new design possibilities: In combination with the room interior, e.g. the tiles, the products can be deployed in areas with low requirements as extremely stylish tone-in-tone fittings. With more complex requirements vis-à-vis the lightness values, more powerful contrasts can be introduced. Thus, supports and wall tiles can be in a similar colour, while the handles and handrails are in a clearly contrasting colour to the latter. In this way, the elderly and people with visual impairments can easily recognise the main components and handles, and instinctively know where to grasp when they need something to hold on to. All this means additional safety and comfort, which here goes hand-in-hand with top-quality design.
