×The mesmerising A’mare seating and table collection by Italian designer Jacopo Foggini for Edra is a natural protagonist for the outdoors. Inspired by the concept of solidifying water into a precious object, each sculptural element is made of handmade pure polycarbonate sticks that when placed near water – on a terrace overlooking the sea or a patio by the pool – harness the spectrum of sunlight creating a landscape of relaxation.
Composed of a chair, armchair, bench, sun lounger, coffee table and tables, the collection is marked by its linear arrangement of polycarbonate sticks crafted irregularly to obtain heterogeneous surfaces, which together create an elastic weave that provides maximum comfort and flawless resilience to the outdoor environment thanks to the durability of the material.

×A’mare’s generous dimensions can be seen in the width of the sun loungers and the broad table tops of 12 mm thick glass. Luxuriant cushion upholsteries are made of a special acrylic fibre fabric with an irregular and mélange texture that is resistant to sunlight and stains. The fabric colour combines a nuanced blend of green and blue, and a special finish renders it resistant to light, stains and water. Overall, the design harmonises lightness, fluidity and functionality for the outdoors.
