HOC: High Office Concept – acronym for a high-quality office project

Project:
Five companies are working together to express and tell at the best a new way of living the workplace. Dynamic and fluid spaces come alive thanks to design and quality that has always characterized these companies: desks, chairs, cabinets, vertical partitions and wall claddings create an innovative and contemporary office environment easy to live in.

Hoc is at the Salone Ufficio 2013 with a space of 400mq in Milano from 09th al 14th April – Hall 24 Stand C 21/ D 14. Project by Bestetti Associati.

Themes:
Every day we all spend much more time in the office than at home. HOC takes into account this important aspect of the everyday life and tells this through products whose functionality is mixed with a cozy and domestic appearance. Free and dynamic spaces where colors, finishes and materials approach the office world to more familiar environments where the human being plays a leading role in his life.

HOC is aimed at architects and high-grade professionals to propose office environments with a familiar and eco-friendly mood for a better quality of life. The protagonists of this project are: Citterio with transparent and sound absorbing partitioning systems, Gallotti&Radice with glazed desks, Former with container cabinets, Knoll with its collection of historical and ergonomic chairs and Laminam with its selection of ceramic surfaces.

CITTERIO

CSS – Citterio Sound System
The CSS system consists of modular free-standing elements made of high-performing noise absorbation technical materials, specifically designed to create surfaces with varying sound absorption degrees. The panels’ materials are non-toxic, fire-resistant and free from residues.

FORMER

An office is not a static monolith. It’s an object that can be moulded according to real necessities and taste needs. So, with regard to office interiors, the accurate partition of the rooms, which leads to the general division of the space, is often brought to question. Former, playing at best the globalization of the working space, creates eclectic vertical containers that can divide the office in partitions, which redefine our working places in a amore dynamic and innovative way. The APP container is the first example of this innovative furniture idea; its ability to divide the space and its modern and efficient equipments make it a perfect divider, with a domestic warm mood.

GALLOTTI&RADICE

Air Unit
Air is a collection of glass desks and containers with a very clean, essential design. A modular system, its “mix and match” component parts come in varying sizes to serve different functions and provide different aesthetics.

The containers are entirely covered in back-painted glass and come in a variety of colours. The Air collection offers incredible flexibility of choice, both in terms of style and interpretation, for everything from the management office to desk clusters, from domestic use to the home office.

Dolm
A system of glass tables where the purity of the material meets that of the shape. Ultra-clean design characterized by the continuity of the band which connects the outer sides of the bases with the central part of the table top. It is available in the classic version with two bases or in the component version to make tables of infinite length.

WGS Double
The WGS project (wood, glass and steel) blends the purity and tradition of Gallotti&Radice’s expertise in combining glass with other noble and pleasing-to-the-touch materials such as solid wood, pressed wool and steel.

Air Desk Hall
Air Desk Hall is the essence of made-to-measure design: simple lines and pure shapes offering a wide variety of personalised solutions distinguish this reception desk.

LAMINAM

LAMINAM, the manufacturer of the revolutionary ceramic slabs, presents the new ANDY collection.
Andy, the new collection characterized by a three-dimensional and sharp graphic design. was created by Laminam and the young Japanese designer Narumiya Michio, whose inspiration has been transformed into reality thanks to the research on materials and the innovative production processes carried out by the company. The pattern of Andy draws inspiration from the natural world to achieve an irregular and highly scenographic design, which changes depending on the light and the viewing angle.
