An immersive pavilion hosted Minotti’s latest collection at Salone del Mobile.Milano

Each year at Salone del Mobile.Milano, Minotti sets the stage for its latest furniture collection within a sophisticated exhibition space. For the Italian brand that prides itself on timelessness, consistency and impeccable Made in Italy quality, the architecture serves as a storyteller, enhancing each design and spotlighting new textures, shapes and colours in a fresh light. 

This year’s 4,500 sqm Minotti Pavilion unfolded an immersive experience within a succession of double height volumes. Designed by Minotti Studio and inspired by the enduring legacy of architect Rodolfo Dordoni, carved into the company’s DNA, the display skilfully combined space and materials to showcase the new projects of the 2024 Collection, with their 1970s influences in a contemporary key and powerful ability to narrate any interior.

A smooth sequence of flooring evolved from Minotti’s iconic concrete covering, to giant planks of Italian herringbone Licorice Oak parquet, to soft carpeting that decadently extended up the musk and plum-coloured lacquered walls, up to mirrored ceilings. Anchoring the pathway, a series of 10 distinctive fireplaces in different styles, alongside custom-designed planters with architectural greenery and contemporary works of art.

For the first time, the Minotti Pavilion 2024 also hosted a recording studio with two large windows offering various perspectives, which welcomed two iconic Suitcase armchairs, Rodolfo Dordoni’s inaugural design for the brand. Aligned with the Pavilion’s vision, Minotti’s conversations with customers, designers, architects and journalists ensured that stories of past and present continue to be told in new ways.
