The development of the cupboard was very important to the designers of next125, because: especially in the context of the trend towards open-plan living, it is absolutely contemporary to integrate the kitchen into the living space. It's great when, like the Pocketsystem, the furniture master the game of hide-and-seek perfectly – everything is conveniently within reach when it's needed. If guests spontaneously arrive or chaos takes over, closing the doors can work wonders.

For all these challenges, next125, the premium kitchen brand from the Franconian town of Herrieden, has developed a piece of furniture that is as elegant as it is ingenious: the Pocketsystem. The spacious cupboard with retractable doors makes it possible to cleverly conceal stored goods and even let entire kitchens melt into the architecture of the room: pots, pans and even appliances disappear behind its cubic exterior and the large, smooth doors, so that nothing disturbs the homely, tidy look.

With its minimalist look, the Pocketsystem leaves plenty of possibilities for individual interpretations: the large, smooth doors are the perfect stage for the currently popular wood decors or lacquer surfaces, but ceramic or glass surfaces also have a great effect. If desired, the interior of the furniture can also be designed with eye-catching colours: this ensures a special look and creates a real surprise effect when the doors are opened. When open, the Pocketsystem shows its true greatness. Drawers, shelves and even recess panels create storage space and continue the high-quality overall impression on the inside.

The furniture is available in a two-, three- or four-door version. This makes it possible to accommodate kitchen units up to a maximum width of 250 cm. Especially when appliances are involved, safety is of course the top priority: if you forget to switch off the appliances, the smart furniture takes over this task with a special automatic switch-off.

The function leaves nothing to be desired. Thanks to a special hinged mechanism, the doors open conveniently by tapping and disappear into the carcase when pushed slightly – stability and smooth running are always guaranteed.
