Zimmer + Rohde is going to present the Zimmer + Rohde Interior Contract Awards for the first time.in 2013 in response to the growing demand for custom textile designs. There are 5 categories to be nominated: Residential Villa, Hotel & Wellness Resort, Restaurant/Bar/Night-Club, Private Yacht und Cruise Ship.

These awards are a new way of appreciating creative work of architects, interior designers
and textile furnishing specialists using outstanding textiles. The competition focuses on individual, holistic, textile-based interior design.

As a precondition for a participation, creative textiles must have been used to plan and design pieces that create atmosphere and mood. The Zimmer + Rohde Interior Contract Awards are brand-neutral.

The panel of judges 2013 includes: Tobias Lutz (Architonic), Anne Maria Jagdfeld, Hadi Teherani, Matteo Thun, Axel Venn, Andreas Henke (Porsche) and Andreas Zimmer (Zimmer + Rohde).

The panel of judges will reach and announce its decision based on the selection of textiles for window and furniture, material, quantity, design, colour, innovation and use. As well the integration of textiles into the overall concept of the room and the harmony between furniture and textiles
plays a prominent role.

The deadline for entries to participate in the Zimmer + Rohde Interior Contract Awards is 30th June 2013. All entry forms received will be reviewed in July 2013 and 25 projects will be nominated.
The 25 nominees will then have the opportunity to hand in their presentation to Zimmer + Rohde GmbH between 1st August and 30th September 2013.

The awards and the winners will be presented at an exclusive Awards Dinner in Berlin on 5th December 2013. The winners will also be introduced to the media, they will receive their own Architonic profile to present their winning project and they will as well get an individual coverage
on the website of the Zimmer + Rohde Interior Contract Awards.
