Meet Luigi De Faveri. While we're running from one space to another, he's devoted his career to perfecting the doors we pass through. The founder of Italian uber-architectural-sliding-door specialists Eclisse, De Faveri has drawn on the know-how he acquired while working in a metal workshop back in the 1960s and applied it meticulously over the past 32 years to perfecting the pocket-door system. (That's a door that features just one track – at the top – and slides neatly into an enclosure in the wall, so it's fully concealed.)
