The structures of the Bauhaus Tapeten revisit the fine and restrained patterns of the first wallpaper collection and are now shown in various innovative material combinations as wallcoverings that can be repainted. Very varied optical effects can be achieved through paint coating; the designs are accentuated, strengthened or also reduced. The structures lend the surfaces a haptic impression, which embodies an architecturally valuable alternative to the smooth wall.
Sikkens colour concept
The new Bauhaus collection, designed by the wallpaper factory Rasch together with Sikkens, is a completely new collection type: Bauhaus Tapete Struktur + Farbe.
The collection is characterized by simplicity, high quality and aesthetics as well as timeless modernity. A special feature is the individual combinability. An impressive sybiosis of surface designs and a multitude of tones from the Sikkens colour concept give rise to a perfect wall result.
The Colour palette was derived from the originals of the first Bauhaus wallpapers, from the works of students and lecturers, but also from the colour referendes of today´s Bauhaus buildings and Master´s houses. The result combines the return to the Bauhaus with a contemporery implementation für the individual design of our current living environment.
