COW was designed in 2011 by Emmanuel Meslet and design-studio TenTwelve. COW creative furniture was launched in 2012.
COW combines modern minimalism with subtle retro hints – a good example of contemporary, fresh Nordic design. It is minimalistic yet soulful. Natural oak wood and clean white surfaces complement each other in simple yet eye-catching forms and delicately balanced proportions. Each and every item is like a sculpture in the room. Timeless design and natural wood allow COW furniture to fit perfectly into any environment, by the wall or in the middle of the room. It doesn’t matter if the work environment lies in contemporary or old and stately building, COW fits in perfectly.

Although most of the furniture manufacturing process is automized, the final stage is completed to perfection with the help of experienced carpenters and specialists. COW stands for the Cult Of Wood. It is a modern, stylish and functional line of furniture that honors and utilises that most natural of materials - wood. Wood is an ancient tool for creativity. It springs from the ground like a miracle of nature, like a work of art in itself. Wood is a renewable, sustainable and recyclable resource. No wonder then, that we are obsessed with it. Our aim was to create a range of furniture that does justice to the wonder of wood. Wherever it was physically possible to use wood when creating our products, we did. Smart engineering and smart design allowed us to reduce the amount of metal and other non-wood materials to a bare minimum. The COW furniture line is almost entirely made of wood. This is wood on wood design, wood on wood creativity. COW furniture is homage to wood in its different forms.
COW furniture fits equally well into the office and home office, but is also an ideal study environment for students. Tables, cabinets, shelf and the Box-system are perfectly suitable for other interiors – living-, dining- and bedrooms.
