Design-focused and multi-disciplinary, CHT Architects offers services in architecture, urban design and interior design. We work across multiple sectors, including multi-residential, single residential, aged care, retirement living, health, commercial, institutional and hospitality. Based in Melbourne, CHT Architects successfully undertakes projects locally, in regional Victoria and interstate. Our work consists of high-quality, distinctive buildings and spaces that complement modern Australian life and respond to the aspirations of those who occupy them. Our aim is to create environments that help enrich people’s lives.

CHT Architects began as a practice when Director David Carabott established it in 1999 in Collingwood. Originally based in Langridge Street, the firm was housed in purpose-built premises in Wellington Street for several years before moving to its current location in Oxford Street in 2012. CHT Architects consists of a highly experienced group of architectural, urban design and interior design professionals, who foster a team approach and are committed to design excellence.

The director David Carabott has extensive experience in the architectural profession, and brings insight and director-level involvement to each project. Our team of 65 passionate, creative professionals are committed to listening to and understanding clients’ needs, and delivering appropriate design solutions. They work in close collaboration with clients to deliver innovative and functional architectural solutions.
