Concrete is underrated. It can be so much more than just a grey surface or a weight-carrier.
Concrete can be wonderful, sensual. Concrete can delight.
For several years we have been working with concrete ñ with its mix, its feel and its appearance.
With possible shapes, colours and structures. Again and again, we are trying new variations,
verging on the limits. In our workshop we make premium, exposed-concrete products, such as home accessories,
furniture, lamps, tiles and customized products. Manufacturing of small-scale series for other companies if
a product made of good concrete is desired, no problem.

You are a designer or a producing company with ideas for concrete products and looking for a production
partner? Manufacturing of small-scale series is not a problem for us.
From designing, production of prototypes, wet cast mould production to series production - we are able to do so.
We are happy to offer our know-how and our high quality concrete.

MATERIAL

We make beautiful concrete. We have achieved this goal. A lot of very different people keep telling us
- thank you very much, we are a little proud. It was hard work but in the end we have managed to create a
recipe for concrete which is self-compacting and free of sedimentation. Our concrete is poured into moulds.
It is frost resistant and waterproof. The small air bubbles have enough uplifting force to rise by themselves.
That is why we do not need to vibrate our concrete for the elimination of air. It is very important
for our manufacturing to stick to the recipe and to respect the individual order of the manufacturing process.
This guaranties our consistently high quality concrete. Its ingredients are strictly mineral: water, cement
(grey or white), sand and quartz powder. We use mineral pigments to dye our concrete.

HANDMADEPRODUCTS

All Concrete Home Design products are produced in Germany in an artisanal, non industrial way. We also use very
helpful machines like an angle grinder or a stone saw. All our concrete ingredients are measured out by hand, the
moulds are washed and prepared by hand and of course the concrete is poured by hand. One day later the concrete
can be taken out of the moulds by hand. Afterwards ,depending on the desired result, some products have to
be sawn, sanded, oiled, impregnated or covered in some other material.
