From humble beginnings in Shoreditch, back in 2002, Four-by-Two has grown to become one of the UK’s leading interior, architecture and brand agencies. With an established team working between studios in London and Edinburgh, we combine cutting-edge creative thinking with delivery-manangement skills. Bob Thwaites - Director
Bob has been instrumental in setting up and delivering long-term working relationships with retailers such as LK Bennett and Coast; as well as McDonald’s and corporate clients such as UKTV, Diageo and Pernod Ricard. He is proud that many of these relationships have lasted up to twenty years.
Adam Storey - Creative Director
Adam believes that design can enhance experiences, putting products, services and environments into contexts that are innovative and convincing to consumers. He has created restaurants, brand homes and fashion boutiques for such clients as Pernod Ricard, Westfield and Harvey Nichols.
Karen Maxwell - Design Director
Karen has both a comprehensive and passionate approach to brand communication through the creation of fabulous interior environments. Her skills as a Design Director have been developed while running major projects for clients such as Dune and LK Bennett.
Cameron Welsh - Design Director
Cameron’s passion is for architecture & design of all disciplines. He believes that good design can enhance people’s lives, and increase business profitability. His background is in large-scale mixed-use developments, as well as retail concepts –delivering solutions for clients such as Baxter’s, Jane Norman and USC.
Becky Du Feu - Design Director
Becky’s experience encompasses corporate and F&B work with the likes of UKTV and McDonald’s; and retail work including concept design and UK wide roll-out with Phase Eight and Bravissimo. She believes in the importance of delivering projects from front-end creative to site implementation.
Craig McIntyre - Brand Director
Craig leads our graphics and branding capability: bringing considerable creative design, technical knowledge and project management skills — built up over twenty years of implementing branding initiatives and strategies: Craig delivers exceptional results in graphics for print, environments and digital platforms.
Mark Beever - Creative Strategy Director
Mark is driven to build rewarding connections between people and spatial experiences. His creative approach crosses physical and digital environments, with delivery that supports commercial and brand drivers; creating transformational results through visitor destinations, brand experiences and retail spaces.
